How Can China Build a Market Economy with Sustained Prosperity

--An Analysis from the Perspective of the Diversity in Economic Entities

Abstract: Since the founding of New China, great achievements have been made in socialist development, in despite of twists and turns. Regarding the economic sector, it has a development history of starting from diverse economic entities, then gradually becoming public ownership-dominated, and now coming to a situation of more diversified economic entities. The rapid rise of the Chinese economy benefits from the successful promotion of the development of different economic entities. In the process of building socialism with Chinese characteristics, we must constantly promote the development and reinforcement of state-owned economy, implement modern enterprise system, promote technological progress in enterprises, and strengthen enterprise management so as to make the economy stronger, strengthen national defense and improve national cohesion.
