—Looking at the Sources of the CPC's Development and Expansion from the Vicissitudes of the Past Century

Abstract: After extremely hard and bitter struggle, the CPC achieved national independence and liberation. In different periods of the Chinese revolution, the CPC has always adhered to the fundamental purpose of serving the people heart and soul; formulated programs and policies according to changes in the international situation, national conditions and Party situation, and actively implemented them; and strengthened self-development and launched the rectification movement to purify thoughts. With the changing environment, the tasks, lines, programs, policies and self-development of the Party should all be reformed and improved. However, the Party's fundamental purpose of serving the people heart and soul will never change. The fundamental purpose, together with the Party's policies and programs and self-development, provides a solid foundation and source of power for the CPC's victory and expansion.
