Connotation Characteristics and its Index System of Local Governmental Management Modernization

[Abstract]Local government is the core body of State Administration Modernization Strategy, which is the key to the realization of national governmental modernization. Based on the new concept of modernization, the meaning of governance modernization and the connotation and characteristics of local government management modernization, are ex-pounded. On this basis, the index systems of local government management modernization are constructed from the two aspects of governance system and governance ability, to provide the reference for the practice of promoting the modernization of local government management in China.
